CONNECTIVITY & DATA INGESTION

Bring your spend in.
Minimal day-to-day IT involvement.

SpendCraft connects to the systems your spend already lives in (ERP, AP, P2P, T&E, Excel) and starts normalizing and classifying the moment data arrives. Business users can bring data in directly. IT can set up scheduled pipelines when the volume warrants it. Either way, the foundation gets built without a data project.

Connectors + file upload. Normalized and classified on arrival.

Three ways in. One structured foundation.

Most companies have spend data in more than one place: an ERP, an AP system, a P2P tool, spreadsheets on someone's desktop. SpendCraft accepts all of it. Direct connectors for common systems, file upload for everything else, and scheduled pipelines when the data keeps coming.

Path 1 · Direct connectors

Connect SpendCraft directly to the spend systems your team already uses.

ERP, AP, P2P, invoicing, and expense platforms. Configured once; refresh on a schedule you choose. No middleware to maintain.

ERP

SAP · Oracle ERP · NetSuite · Microsoft Dynamics · Workday Financials

AP / Invoice

Bill.com · Stampli · AP Automation platforms

P2P / Procurement

Coupa · Ariba · GEP · Zycus · Ivalua

Expense

Concur · Expensify · Ramp · Brex

Data warehouse

Snowflake · BigQuery · Redshift · Databricks

Connector availability by tier. Contact Sales for specifics on your stack.

Path 2 · File upload

Drop CSV, XLSX, or TSV files directly into SpendCraft.

Business users can do it themselves. No engineering ticket required. SpendCraft reads the file, detects the schema, and starts normalizing on arrival.

  • CSV · XLSX · XLS · TSV
  • Multi-file uploads handled as a single dataset
  • Schema detection handles common variations in column naming

Path 3 · Scheduled pipeline (SFTP / API)

When ingestion needs to happen on a cadence, SpendCraft accepts it.

Nightly, weekly, or monthly: SFTP drop or API push. Credentials managed through standard enterprise practices. Dataset versioning handles overlap and gaps automatically.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE DATA ARRIVES

01

Arrival

Data lands in SpendCraft via connector, upload, SFTP, or API.

02

Normalization

Vendor aliases consolidated. Item descriptions standardized. Data quality flagged.

03

Classification

Proprietary AI classifies into the taxonomy you've configured. Human review at any point.

The foundation builds itself the moment data lands. Scans, chat, dashboards, and Scout all run on the result.

What happens to the data you send.

Every byte of spend data sent to SpendCraft is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is scoped per tenant, per user, per role. Raw transaction data stays in your SpendCraft workspace. It isn't used to train external models, and it isn't shared across tenants. For the full details, see Security & Data Handling.

Business users bring the data in. IT sets the guardrails.

SpendCraft is designed for business users to get started without an engineering project: file upload, direct connectors, self-service onboarding. When IT needs to set data flow policies, credential management, or scheduled pipelines, the controls are there. Minimal day-to-day IT involvement does not mean no IT involvement. It means the product doesn't depend on it to deliver value.
